Eavenson, Fraser, Lunsford & Ivan is pleased to announce that Anita (“Weezie”) Roberson has joined the firm as a partner. She will practice out of the firm’s Palm Beach Gardens office.
Weezie has over 20 years of experience in complex commercial transactions, business law and corporate law both domestically and internationally. Weezie has worked in the Energy & Infrastructure Industry most of her career and has specialized in renewable energy projects for the past 14 years. During her 13 year tenure at Nextera Energy, Inc. she was Managing Attorney in the Commercial Transaction Group and managed the legal work for NextEra’s expansion into the Canadian market consisting of investments in Wind, Solar, Energy Storage and Transmission Projects. She also played a key role in the IPO of NextEra Energy Partners (NEP) on the NYSE and other material corporate development initiatives.
Weezie earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alabama School of Law and an LL.M. in Transnational Business Practice from McGeorge School of Law. She graduated from Spring Hill College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree (marketing concentration). She is licensed to practice in the States of Florida, Alabama and Texas.
